PRIVACY POLICY

The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Telephone number

  • Email address

  • Photographs taken as part of any project

  • If you are using our Virtual Assistant services, we may also collect and process business confidential information (including employee/client data) if the agreed task requires us to process this data

 

How we get the personal information and why we have it

This information is collected from you as part of the following processes:

  • As part of a piece of work you contract with us for

  • If you submit a contact form from our website

  • Data collected in the form of cookies and other tracking data when you visit our website, as per the cookie selection you made on your first visit to the site

We use the information that you have given us to provide you with an agreed service, and (if opted—in) to provide you with marketing materials.

If part of your agreement with us means that you need to send us personal information (outside of the above methods), we will agree with you a safe and secure system of you sending us your confidential documents and information (and us returning them to you). We are not liable for data that is not securely transmitted to us.

 

How we process your personal/business information

We will only use Confidential Information that you send us to perform the services set out in the Client Agreement or if we are required to disclose it by law.

 

Information sharing

We will not share this information with any other organisation or individuals unless required to do so by law.

Lawful basis for processing

Under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

  1. Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting michelle@ke-lifestyle.co.uk or by sending a message through the website

  2. We have a contractual obligation

  3. We have a legal obligation

 

How we store your personal information & for how long

Your information is securely stored in a cloud storage platform. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.  We do not keep paper records containing client data.

We keep personal information related to client engagements for 10 years following the completion of the project.

Marketing consent will be kept for a period of 3 years from the point consent was given, at which time consent will be requested again.

At the end of the relevant period, all personal information will then be deleted from the digital storage.

 

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information

  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete

  • Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances

  • Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances

  • Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances

  • Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
